Why get verified?
Verifying your identity helps make Anyone a safer and more trustworthy place for everyone. It gives other users confidence that they’re dealing with a genuine person. Identity verification is required to publish a listing. We use secure, modern verification methods to make the process quick and easy, it usually takes less than two minutes.
Start the verification process
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner (you'll notice an exclamation mark if you're not verified yet)
Choose either:
Click the yellow "Verify your account" message
Or go to Settings > Identity verification
Complete verification
Enter your first and last name exactly as they appear on your ID
Click "Verify identity"
Click "Start verification" to continue
Document verification
You'll be guided through Onfido's secure verification process:
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete verification
The system will check your documents automatically
Verification status
After submitting your documents:
Verification typically takes a short time to process
Once verified, the users can see a white checkmark next to your profile as proof of verification
This verification is completely free
Good to know: Most buyers are verified. They carry a checkmark on their profile, so when a viewing request or offer comes in, you can see at a glance whether you’re dealing with a verified person.
